I routinely do a reseller's update on this blog. I also post what items are good sellers, and others that are not.
I follow eBay for Business on Facebook. There are good tips from other sellers.
My theme for last year's AtoZ Challenge was Reselling on eBay, if you care to revisit those themed posts.
I also watch podcasts about reselling and thrifting from a couple of YouTube channels.
I sell exclusively on eBay. I don't want to have to check multiple platforms for selling a bunch of small items.
It is my hope there will be an in-person eBay convention held on the West Coast sometime in the future.
A glimpse of my sewing pattern setup. I was much happier when I obtained this wire rack shelving unit.
Tarot Card of the Day - I want to be the Empress of eBay~
I should try Ebay again for getting rid of stuff. I started to sign up a number of years ago but ran into some kind of problem and gave up on it. I know Ebay can be an effective means of marketing. When I was in the wholesale business I had some customers who would buy product from me that they sold on Ebay. I figured they must be making something from the efforts because they'd buy stuff from me on a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteLast year when the door handle on our 24 year old microwave broke off the first place I looked for a replacement was Amazon and it was very expensive (over $30). Next I went to Ebay and found the exact part brand new for $9.95 and that included shipping. They said I'd get the part from across the country from me in a week. It came in 3 days. I was very impressed! I will be using eBay again if I face a similar circumstance.
