A Roadblock.
Who hasn't experienced a roadblock? The literal ones, where you carefully map your route and then BAM. Or the ephemeral roadblock, you can't quite put your finger on what is wrong, things just won't come together, a feeling of stagnation.
I've been in the midst of roadblockitis for quite some time now. Career-wise, I'm stalled. I could blame it on the economy, my personality (I'm no shrinking violet), my age (50+). But mine is merely a desire for change, there are others in dire straits.
Blogging is my creative outlet ~ I truly enjoy it.

I find it's always good to have some milk of magnesia on hand for my roadblocks. Maybe that's just me, though.

DeleteBlogging is a great way to get around some of life's roadblocks, or at least ignore them for awhile!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I've also found blogging to be my "detour" if you will, whenever I feel like life has thrown up a roadblock.
ReplyDeleteI know that professional one. The job market sucks. I'm with you all the way.
ReplyDeleteHopefully for every roadblock you find an acceptable detour.
