Cream of Tartar Biscuit
One quart of flour, two teaspoonfuls of cream of tartar stirred into the flour; also rub in a piece of butter the size of an egg, salt to taste; dissolve one teaspoonful of super-carbonate of soda in half a teacup of hot water, pour this into the flour, and make a dough with milk just stiff enough to roll out.
