I can't make this stuff up! Since we've gone wild on this post, might as well add weird and wacky in to the mix. Leading off with an image posted on the Weird Secondhand Finds that need to be Shared. Described as "Thanks to someone's unhinged meemaw, this chaotic masterpiece is now mine for 3 dollars. Thrifted from my local habitat for humanity."
Popping in the day's vinyl, a record recently obtained $2 at Goodwill.
Today's recipe from The Ford Times Cookbook (1968), sounds too delicious not to share!
COFFEE RUM PARFAIT
Pour 1 cup very hot coffee over 10 ounces small marshmallows, mix until almost melted. Mix in 1 ounce dark rum, then fold in 1 cup heavy cream, whipped, and pour into 5 parfait glasses. Let stand 30 minutes, then refrigerate or freeze for several hours. Top with whipped cream. Serves 5.
