PEACH ICE CREAM
1 heaping 2-quart basket peaches
5-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup lemon juice
3-1/2 quarts heavy cream
Peel and pit peaches, then grind. Add sugar, salt, lemon juice, and cream. Freeze as you would regular ice cream.
Fresh peaches are a summertime treat, but one can always dream. 🍑
