Christmas Candle Re-creation

When I saw this Christmas candle posted by another fellow "weirdling" from the FB group Weird Secondhand Finds that Need to Be Shared, I just knew I had to recreate it IRL.
I already had the hat, sunglasses, earrings, fruitcake and shoes. I bought the purse at Thrift Town for $1. Had to resort to my camo gloves because I lost my leather lined gloves a couple of years ago. The real cost came with the coat. Had I started earlier in the season looking for a red coat with black trim, I might have been able to find one in the wild. I sprang for a $50 coat on EBay, vintage 1960s. It has found its forever home.

This photo shoot forced me to learn how to use the timer on the Fuji HS 30 exr I have been using recently. Sometimes I think the outtakes are more interesting than the posed picture.
Welcome to Day 8 to the Countdown to Christmas!

That is too funny!! If you hadn't mentioned the camo gloves I don't think I would have noticed them.
Wow! That's a really well done recreation!
