I am not even going to attempt to explain this photo other than it is posted for the challenge topic of "kafkaesque." I had absolutely no idea how to load those arrows onto the arrow-shooting thingee.
Just a few days left in this photography non-challenge, please visit my Little House On The Prairie podners.
Apologies to those Fanciful Twist readers who hit on this post and wonder "what have I linked into?"
Moving right along to a blog-hopping party. Linking to A Fancifult Twist for her 5th Annual Halloween festivities. Vanessa is Martha-Stewart scary with her creativity.
Little did I know that Disneyland decorates for Halloween - here are some fun images from my Anaheim trip earlier this month.
Thrift Town Halloween bear - so proud of myself, the bear didn't come home with me ...
Ya'll come back now, ya hear?
Hey I like the kafkaesque photos, not to mention the great halloween ones too! Happy Halloween, thanks for having me!
ReplyDeletePlease come party with witches at my 2 separate halloween parties:

Cackle with you soon!
maybe you should dress up like Kafka for Halloween
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing those Disneyland Halloween pictures! I've never been there during Halloween so it's really neat to see how they decorate. Happy Halloween!!! :-)

Love the outfit; the hat in particular. If you were hunting cows then this would be very calfkaesque.
ReplyDelete(Insert groan here.)
DeleteDelightful!

Wow! Those Disneyland Halloween pictures are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have friends who consider spending time at Disney completely Kafkaesque.
ReplyDeleteI love that outfit you're wearing. I'm actually glad you couldn't figure out how to load the arrows. You're scary sometimes.
What a Fun Twist and I always wondered what the Halloween Disney looked like! Cool! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! Well, the Kafkaesque chick (prefect name by the way)...and the Disney pics. Have you never seen "Nightmare Before Christmas?" Highly recommended, you know if you have the flu and you are sick of infomercials and want to see something else. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the background of your blog too. My house would look like Halloween year 'round if i could get away with it, because i love orange and black and old sparkly. :)
Have a happy Halloween! Boo to you~

You know, those first pictures? It's like "old fashioned" zombie hunting! Could totally work! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos today! Love the "arrow-shooting thingee!!!!"
ReplyDeleteThose photos work as well as anyone else's because, in the final analysis, it really doesn't matter. I like the Disneyland pics. I grew up not far from Disney World and I didn't know they did Halloween, either.
ReplyDeleteLike Cheryl's friends, I find Disney Kafkaesque. Love the little marauder on the prairie photo!
ReplyDeleteAnything called a thingee is fine in my book!
ReplyDeletelove the LHOTP photo. my kid is now enjoying the reruns.
ReplyDeleteA Happy Halloween to you! My daughter dressed as Sally to go to Disneyland this year...that transformation of the Mansion is her favorite ride!

ReplyDeleteLove the challenge photo!!!! I love Disney at Halloween. We went this year....I also love Christmas....the decorations for Christmas are up until the end of January so we Floridians can enjoy it without the tourist seasonal rush ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteGuess where my sister is right now????
Yes.
Disneyland.
She sent grainy phone pics so I couldn't see thing really well - so your clear awesome pics totally hit the spot!!
Imagine?
I would love to be there on the 31st myself!
Thank you so much for being a part of this extra magical season!!

I am one who finds spending time at Disney Kafkaesque and I have a daughter in LOVE with Disney. I'm doomed!!! Perhaps if I dress like you in the picture and bring along my crossbow it will be more fun. You are prepared for the zombie apocalypse that is for sure!
ReplyDeletePrairie bonnets. I love you, Tami. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some Disney-Burton-Halloween love! Would love to go there at some point :)
