Day 13 of 30 days of photographs (Calm)
When in doubt, rely on the pet for inspiration. Zipper, the total embodiment of "calm." To visit my photog challenge pals in repose - Keep Calm and Carry On.
After seeing a few dogs today that are apparently 'calm' I would have to say that that dog IS calm. The dictionary should be re-written so that the definition of calm is "An emotional, physical, or spiritual situation which basically equates to a dog sprawled on its back."
I love that!!! My dogs sleep like that also. It is said that when a dog sleeps with their belly up like that they are very secure and happy in their environment.
hahahaha that picture is so adorable! My dogs have never actually slept on their bellies before but they definitely will sit like this when they want a belly rub! Sapir thesapphirequeen.blogspot.com
Aww! How come everyone's dogs are so calm, anyway? I used to have a dog and she was NEVER still...
ReplyDeleteThat's one calm dog! My golden used to lay like that all the time, but Henry never does.
ReplyDeleteYep, when I take a nap I look remarkably similar.

ReplyDeleteZipper is completely and unabashedly calm. Also: Zipper has no dignity. (Our dog didn't either.)
ReplyDeleteI hope he didn't get into the catnip!
ReplyDeleteand that pup deserves a belly rub. that would keep me calm(er).
