Day 3 of 30 days of photographs (Above my head)


Relying on the Beaux arts architecture in the building where I work to satisfy the challenge topic of "Above my Head."  It's a bird, it's a plane - to visit the other photog challenge participants.

    It's wonderful to find architecture with some character. A lot of the newer buildings are so slick - boring!

    I'd never heard of Beaux arts architecture until your post. I gather from your picture that it's a mix of 18th-century French and Romanesque architecture, but it puts me in the mind of New Orleans. Is that where you are?

    What a beautiful building! You can staring at upstairs and the ceiling for hours. Then be happy and tired like the cat. :)

    Have I seen that before? It looks familiar... in any case, it's gorgeous. Lucky you to work in such a beautiful environment! And that cat actually makes me think that not all cat pictures are evil. :-)

    That is really beautiful. You took a great shot too... if I tried to capture it, it would not be half as good...the lighting is excellent!
