Abbey Choir and pineapples

In my Etsy searches, I found these pineapple sweater brooches. Santa are you listening?

I went pineapple crazy in a post on last year's countdown here.
This year it is-

Pineapple Cookies

Mix together
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
a dollop of sour cream
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
Add in
3-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Mix again, then
stir in
1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Chill batter for one hour. Drop rounded teaspoonful 2" apart on cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
