The Kindess Project and Wordful Wednesday

A Labor Day thrift shop sale resulted in my Volunteers apron for 50 cents.  I added a few fall silk flowers and ivy for this image.  When my work life and college life stop consuming so much of my time I will be  volunteering.

Posting thanks to Claire Hennessy for The Kindness Project idea.

The Kindness Project

I SHALL NOT PASS THIS WAY AGAIN

THROUGH this toilsome world, alas!
Once and only once I pass;
If a kindness I may show,
If a good deed I may do
To a suffering fellow man,
Let me do it while I can.
No delay, for it is plain
I shall not pass this way again.

Kindness is needed right now perhaps more than ever before. The world seems to be growing colder in many ways.
