Sundays in My City

I had a grand time thrift shopping, spending a little under $20 - here is the lot:
A navajo print table runner.

A Free People skirt (this is a high end label sold at Macys) - I can rely on that designer's creations to wear well on me.

A special edition Currier & Ives hardcover book (pub. 1942).

Tie bar and cuff links, engraved "Anson" on the tie bar.

Thanksgiving card and retro magnets.

Our weather here in Northern California is hovering in the 70s - we are blessed!  Sending virtual prayers to those suffering on the East Coast.

  2. The fall colors in the skirt and blanket are GORGEOUS hanging on that fence! (It is a fence, isn't it?)

    1. Yes, a fence - I tried to get in some of the scenery but maybe next time ~

  3. I love thrift shopping. Great purchases. Love the table runner, heck love the skirt and book too. I'd have purchased the same items, or something similar if I'd been there and the weather sounds wonderful.

Sandy visited but we came through just fine. Counting my blessings!

  4. Oh you did so well. I rarely get to go thrift store shopping any more and when I do, the deals aren't that great. I feel like in SF things are so over-priced at the thrift stores.
