Up and Running Again

Selling on eBay as grammasonacid. Renamed my store to go with my inactive YouTube account. 

I've located my saved product. A relative had a digital camera for my photo sessions. The only thing missing was a USB cable, now on order. Live listings will have to wait until Monday. I can draft without photos for now. 

I prefer to take the photos by camera rather than iPhone. When I take the pictures on my phone, they come up as "memories" on my Microsoft OneDrive photos. 

The basket of needlekits I saved from the Great Purge. The container of Barbie doll clothes are those I've kept for myself. Rather than lot them up by color, I will list individually if they are rare enough. The few books I have tagged for listing, and I've picked up a few more from Goodwill. 

Not shown are a slew of Christmas CDs I can also list. During lockdown, Christmas CDs were one of my best sellers. 

Funny thing, I just gave away all of the eBay branded boxes and tape. I wasn't using most of them anyway. Polymailers work for all of the items I sell. 

I am not going to opt in to the store option at this time. Before, I had over 2,000 active listings. I did not lose my customer feedback or my listing templates. Such good tidings of great joy!😄

I had entertained the idea of going to an eBay convention. One is scheduled for August 12-14, 2026 at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. I don't have the extra cash at this time to attend. Maybe with my pared-down store I will see some💰

YOLO and the Purging of the eBay Product

You Only Live Once. My focus has swiveled to less at-home projects and more travel experiences. Exploration Over Accumulation. I am kicking around the idea of traveling somewhere special this summer within the U.S. 

The upcoming 2026 California State Fair theme is Wish You Were Here. The Crafts Special Contest entries should reflect anything related to postcards such as places traveled, different cultures, and iconic landmarks. 

As promised, I ran this prompt through an AI generator *art postcards travel culture landmarks* I didn't receive any inspired images just pictures of postcards. 

I am considering entering the Dollhouse Quilt I showcased in December. Division 192 Class 1 is the one person small art quilt category. Interestingly, the notes for that division state "Art quilts must be an original design, meant to be used as a work of art, and made entirely by the entrant and cannot include any element created or significantly altered using Artificial Intelligence (AI)."

On a different topic - eBay. My selling account was officially closed at the end of January. I am making daily donation trips to hospice thrift. Of the 2,000+ items I had listed these were the few that I pulled for myself. All of the Folkwear Patterns ranging in date from 1978, 1986, and 2000.

This chicken needlepoint I have pulled and listed more than once. 1986 Sunset View from the Barn 6419. Forever mine now. 

Yarn is next to go. Searching the storage unit for a Pacifica Pattern. I may have already donated it to hospice thrift.😒

Eggs and Eugenia Cooney

A to Z Challenge day is all about the letter E. For those who live outside of the United States, we have been having an egg crisis. Prices have risen and there was a bird flu. We consume a lot of eggs. Just the two of us consume an 18 count carton each week.  

On the subject of Eugenia Cooney - she is a much-loved fashion influencer who is ultra skinny. Too skinny to be healthy. I have read she is taking a much-needed rest from social platforms to gain her strength and health. 

I adore her outfits, her sweet personality, and always upbeat postings. Wishing her all the best and await her return to the World Wide Web. 

As an aside, I recommend E*Trade and eBay. I have been a member of both for over 20 years. E*Trade is a online brokerage where one can invest in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. eBay is where I sell all of the extraordinary stuff I find at thrift.
