Birthday Day

Because it is my birthday AND I love, love, love thrifted ball gowns, it is another Simply Delightful Thrifted Ball Gown day. I buy these amazing dresses at thrift for just a few dollars. This one fit perfectly. 

The white opera length gloves and latch hook rug kit were thrift shop finds this month. I had intended on creating a latch hook rug but this is so much better! Even if some of the yarn is missing I can supplement it with my rug yarn stash. 

Here it is partially completed by mystery crafter. A perfect project for me. Picked it up at half off senior day priced at $20, I paid $10. 

I read through the kit trying to find the date of this kit and found a reference to rug binding. Good thing I hadn't bound my completed Christmas tree rug skirt. Ordered rug binding now. I will be using this process to finish the rug. 

Gender revealed Its A Girl! Pink powder spewed out from under a dune buggy's wheel. 

I made the table runner from orphan blocks purchased earlier this month.
