Five favorite nom nom nom recipes

Challenge prompt: "Tell us about your five favorite foods or five favorite restaurants. You can also share five favorite recipes."

I opted for 5 recipes from 1950 publication The Ford Treasury of Famous Recipes from Famous Eating Places.

My grandmother was a Czech immigrant and she loved Kolacky.

We have a freezer filled with pheasant, one way to prepare it.

The Nut Tree was a unique place with an aviary in the center of the restaurant, a small train that traversed the grounds with great big rocking horses out front.

Rumbudding with Sauce was a Christmas family tradition for us as evidenced by the well worn page from the recipe book. That is teetotaler mom's handwriting reducing the rum to 1 tsp.

Admittedly, I haven't tried this recipe but it sounds like a good one!
Which one of these would you try?
